Gent

This is my moms gelding Gent hes a 13 year old lippitt morgan a very rare breed of horse now days its what the old style morgans used to looks like back in the civil war before they started cross breeding them my mom actually said it was a shame they gelded him he could have made great foals which is true you dont see many good morgans now days, we have had Gent since he was 9 and boy he was a jacka** he would run you over to get his foot dragg you down the isle try to buck you off run away with you stuff like that it took 2 years but my mom finally got him traied right and now he doesnt do that stuff anymore once in a while he will try it and we make him stop cause even with the best training you cant erase what they we're before and before we got him his old owners let him do anything without consiquencess so he got ot be a jerk till we got him and hes so good that now i can even ride him which i couldnt before since my mom was afraid he would buck me off well he tried but didnt win i stayed on and made him do a 180 till he stoped he was just testing me seeing what he could get away with and once i showed him he cant do that with me than he was a good boy and did what i said. He is very aggressive towards men though he doesnt like them since he was man handled and beated by men and you can even see the scars on his chest and hind legs in the right light from being beat before we got him so his attitude is understandable but not acceptable, hes a speical horse who will always keep you alert and learning with him its more of a you do this for me and ill do this for you relationship while rideing him you have to ask him not tell him and he is willing to do it but hin return you cant tugg on his face with the reigns and you have to stay balanced other wise hes not a happy boy.
